The Sky

I want to climb the sky
Out into the deep blue
And drift into its vastness
Until I blend into its texture

The Silence of Time will prevail
And the Sunlight will vibrate
And sink from the intensity of Space
Into the massive of the Sky

For that quiet moment
Infinity will exist
And hold me in its Energy
As I breathe in the Sky

Painted into it's fabric
I will remain within it's spread
And dissolve in its glow
As it expands

Clouds are in semi-existence
They just watch from the corners
Unbuttoned from Space
But still, add to the phenomenon of the Sky

It's beauty cant be exaggerated
Weightless and dream-like
The wide open splendor of the Sky
Never begins nor ends

I drink in the blue and hold it in my hands
I feel the rejuvenating warmth
And no longer see myself as just me
I see myself as the Sky

The Imagination's Invention

The shape of the ocean
The sky on the moon
The depth in the fire
The Autumn's night in June

The simplicity of day
The flash of night
The destruction of wrong
The duty of right

The honesty of the air
The breath of a dance
The grey of Light
The pattern of chance

The gallop of a dolphin
The sipping of notes
The whisper of an orchestra
The painting of anecdotes

The sigh of a river
The gravity of the sea
The shadow of a touch
The blink of a memory

The seeping of Truth
The floating of sleep
The solitude of feelings
The crawling of a leap

"The brilliance of the hour
The purest of intention
The assurance of thought
Is the Imagination's Invention"

Each can exist if you believe in it
Your Imagination is a gift which is Divine
Inspiration is to celebrate, not grieve in it
Close your eyes, and you'll see the Sign

A Heart's Story

A shadow of light was cast
But a Heart was being covered
Like the rain clouds cover the sun
Weeping endless drops of rain.
'Twas as if that Heart had cried
Cried itself dim
Cried itself weak
Cried itself to sleep.
But awoke with fury of pain
Awoke with rage of hurt
For it was not guilty of crime
It was not guilty of crime.
It's only sin was - it had Loved.
Loved with no conditions
Loved with no regrets
For bold was this Heart
But innocence was not lost
And it Loved with no fear
Of the terror to meet it yet.
Watching Eyes narrowed
For they did not believe
What wonders this Heart
So in Love could achieve.
Far beyond their thoughts
Far, far away
This Heart's Love knew magic
But knew not how to say
The magical words of Love
The beauty that lies within
To all those who accused it
Of the so-called sin.
Lost in a haze of mist
It wandered, crushed, with no aim
When upon it came
A Heart of the same
Sorrow, misery and pain.
Learned was this new Heart -
It knew the ways of the world
And it preached to it's new friend
How to be strong
How to have faith
How to prove to those watching eyes
That it was not wrong.
From the Heart that had confided
This Heart learned fast
And it quickly decided
To fight till the last.
Times had been harsh
But this brave Heart knew
That it had to be strong
And it soon so grew.
Pouring Love into it's core
Enriching itself even more
Feeling day by day, for sure
Fresh and brand new.
So on followed, till a time came
When this Heart was full of Love
So full, it could not contain
And showered it from above.
It fell gently from the skies
Penetrating those Narrow Eyes
And made them wise
By destroying their lies
Of the evils of Love
And the wonder of hate
For this Heart had created
What no one could before create.
The Watching Eyes soon watched again
But not like they had before
They watched with Love from that time then -
And hate was erased from the core.
Victorious was this Heart
And so it was
For it -
It had seen the sign.
But this Heart had a secret
A deep, dark secret
For this Heart -
This Heart was mine.

He

I had written this about one of our friends in college.. We're all out of college now, but he's still the same :)

He has the smile to melt a girl's heart
He has the warm gaze to make her shy
His touch is truly a work of art
The power of his absence can make her cry

His innocence makes you forget his faults
His hugs are pure moments of love
He's sweeter than sugar and saltier than salt
He's truly and Angel sent from above

His Spirit is that of a child
Raw, pure, tender and free
He's cold, he's hot and in between like mild
Sometimes, it happens, he's more than he could be

He never finishes what he starts
He begins with a smile and never ends
It cuts like a knife each time he parts
Whether he's your rival, your love, or your friend

I Never Told Anyone...

All my life, I've never been
It took so long to figure out what I was doing wrong
But now I'm gonna change
From now on I'm just gonna Be.
No more thinking what other people think I should be
No more holding back
No more pretending
No more giving up
No more being afraid
I'm coming back to what I should have
And I'm gonna live each moment
As each moment
In each moment
Coz when you look at it
You'll only be in the moment, in that moment
And if u wait
Or let it go
Or just aren't there to witness it
It's gone
And you dont get it back.
The first time I actually watched time slip
It frightened the daylights out of me
One moment she was talking
And I was thinking, right now she's talking and soon she's gonna stop
And soon enough, she stopped
And that time, however short
Was gone.
I just think
How many moments we let slip
And how many of them we are actually there for
And out of a lifetime
How many chunks of time we just dont live
There really is no time for fear
No time to not take action
Not say what you really feel -
When you feel it
You cant wait if you have to do the right thing
If you have to stop corruption
If you have to tell someone you love them
If you have to be who you are
If you have to change the world
The time is NOW.
Not in 10 minutes
Not in half an hour
Not tomorrow -
Today.
Right Now.

The biggest thing I ever learnt was
You shouldn't stop changing
And it's never to late to change.
And if there's something that you can do without
Or just approach differently
You should
Coz it only proves that you're still learning
And that means your mind and heart are open
Which produces quite a feeling when you think about it.
So many things, if just altered
Can make life so much more pleasurable.
If we can stop fighting
Can stop pointing fingers
Stop destroying things in anger
Stop getting angry
Stop being so violent
Stop being so rigid in our beliefs
Stop denouncing people for what they believe in
Stop being so attached to things, events, people
Stop holding on to grudges and arguments of the past
Just stop
And take a look around
How much pain we cause ourselves and others.
We can change that
Start doing the right things
Follow your heart
And you'll find the way.

Everything just starts with a realization
When you have those moments of reckoning
Where inwardly, you just see something for what it is
Objectively
And can see what you have been doing
And see the difference between both
That's where it all starts.
That's the place to make the change.

One of the worst things, I feel, is when people judge
Other people, themselves, anything
Coz judgement always meant an opinion, to me
It can never be without bias
You always say what you think the other person should be like
And when you judge yourself
Sometimes you can put yourself on a pedestal
And say, no one is better than me
Or you could be the other extreme
And say, Gosh, I'm so worthless
It's never fair.
Judgement just means you cant accept what's in front of you for what it is.
How different the world would be if we could change that.

Sometimes people just need direction
Someone to guide them
Support them
To say, everything's gonna be alright
To reinforce their own belief in themselves
It really helps when someone just cares
They dont have to fix your problem
But if they just listen
That's also a big thing.
It means a lot.
We can change not being there for each other
Coz each part of Energy from each of us
Does really end up larger than the sum of it's parts.

We are so much stronger than we realize
We posses all we need
With a few tweaks here or there
Not only can we change ourselves
We can change anything we want to
And truly make a difference.

I wonder how many of us have listened to ourselves.
If we sit quietly long enough
The way out, the answer always comes
In some form or the other.
It just takes belief.

I always felt all these things
But was too afraid to say anything before
I'm changing that now
I'm gonna be free of fear
To do the right thing
And follow my heart
And I'm gonna start living
And being me.
From Today.
Right Now.
Coz that's where it all begins.

But that doesnt give you a reason to give up.

Sometimes the care just aint enough
Sometimes you feel it just aint there
Or sometimes, you just dont see it
When its surrounding you and trying to penetrate the wall you put up
But it's there.
It's always there.
And you are never truly alone.
Ever.
They are looking after you.
They always have been.

All those times you thought it was over
And all the signs pointed to it.
When you knew beyond doubt that it's hopeless.
But then you go to sleep and wake up
And the new day brings her lovely light
And the sun shines.
Even when there are clouds
The sun shines.
You might not see it for a moment
But it's there.
Like it always has been.
And you see how it's so constant.
And you look at your own life
And see the ups and downs
Most of which are your own doing
And you try to be like the sun.
You want to be like the sun.
Shining all the time
Whether there are clouds or not.

Your potential is boundless.
You might already see it
All you have to do is accept it.
And dont ever think that you aint got it
Coz girl, you sure do.
No one can make you feel good or bad.
Nothing can influence your thoughts.
You're stronger than that.
So if you see something
Or someone says something
That you dont like
Dont you let it affect you
Coz you are more powerful than that
In every way that you can imagine.
Dont let yourself fall.

Dont give up.

Your brilliance is beyond measure
That's just the person you are.
Dont let yourself believe otherwise.
Ever.
The Light is always shining.
Close your eyes and you'll see it.
It's always been there
Whether you acknowledge it or not.
Dont ever underestimate yourself.
Nothing is ever too hard
Or out of reach
Or unattainable
Or unachievable.
Nothing is EVER hopeless.

Reborn

Grasped by the power of her thoughts
She was overwhelmed at the magnitude
The magnitude of emotions that enveloped her
Cascading through her mind
Each memory, so clear
She couldn't seem to let go
Even to those memories which were not hers
There was a begging
It was as though in a distance
She could feel it's intensity
She could hear it
Softly at first, then louder
At a point, each word began to pinch her
The pinching turned to blows
She was knocked unconscious
But she felt the begging, constant
She could still hear it
It was coming from within her
She could not tell from where though
Whether it was her Heart or Mind
She felt a questioning in her Soul
She didn't like the feeling
She wanted to let go
To disappear
To be free and fly away.
It hurt her to be unconscious
So helpless
And it hurt to feel so much and not be able to release the pain
She wanted to grow
Out of herself, out of this unconscious identity
She had so much care within her
For so many people
She wanted to help
But didn't know how
That desire was so strong
Like an unquenchable thirst
She didn't know what to do
She hated helplessness
And hated herself for being so helpless
But she loved herself for caring so much
And wanting to help
She was torn
Within her own mind
Within her own body
It's like she understood so many things without knowing them first
She felt developed in many areas
But she felt sorely lacking in others
She hated this half - half quality
She wanted to be complete
She cared, and it moved her so much that it did
She couldn't stop the tears
But saw a goodness in that
And cried out her Soul's worth in tears
She felt the unfeelable pain
She drowned in the shallowness of that pain
The unknowable pain, the unseeable pain
The pain, she felt, was a crime to be aware of it
Just the knowledge of it hurt her
She felt guilty to know about it
Not knowing how she got to know about it
She hated feeling guilty
She knew that feeling guilty meant you did something wrong
She didn't want to feel that she's done something wrong
The pain...
The pain wont go away
She was wallowing in her negativities
And then her mind stops
Her Heart stops
Her Soul takes one more breath.
She steps out of herself
And she's reborn
She's not free yet
Just reborn
The pain is gone
It's washed clean
She feels new, but she's not
She knows so much but wants to learn more
The caring has increased
She doesn't know why, but it has
She feels more deeply than before
She can see things for what they are
She can see the Truth
There are so many things she knows
But she feels incomplete
She needs to find the water
The ocean full of things she wants to know
The Answers.
The place where she can validate the Truth she knows
Where there are guarantees
Where she's not afraid
Where she can care and love
She needs to find that place
To be One with herself and something Higher.

Spirit

Within the depth of the bloom
Lies the sincerity of your Light

Unquenched hearts are filled
With the unbound resolve of Love
All our layers are fulfilled
As the ocean of Assurance surrounds us

True Bliss is all encompassing
The birth of this Radiance is inexplicable
It always Was and will continue to Be
And the infinite experience will encapsulate us all.

And the clouds act like Angels

When the grey turns to dust
And the storm falls apart
You're drenched in the wind
You're alive in the breeze

You can fly
The sky just exists
There's no limit
There's just Faith.

What you thought was pain
Was pure disbelief
Unreal, like the last thought
Of insecurity

What you feel, you see
You dance like abstract art
It makes sense to you
And that's all that matters
The podium is open
For you to sing your flight
And closed doors are forever gone
As the Light washes the world.

The drums of your Soul continue
The Music shines ever so bright
And you're lost in the endless
Of the world within your heart
It's a beautiful time
It's a beautiful space
None exist for real
But it's true within your Soul

Endless flight, into the rain
Of the colours of the Rainbow
Dreams accompany, but never take over
They are the windows that help us distinguish

Joyful in the wilderness
Of the love that fills, like the sky
Twirling in the sunshine
Suspended and yet, free.

Breathing beauty in each step
Exuding brilliance in each grace
You are the tremendous vision of Soul
And Eternal you shall remain.
