Dandelion Smile

Delicate, but not frail
She floats along
Where the waters sail
Where the winds' whisper of a kiss
Nudges her along.
She wont come apart
Not if she resolves not to
But she welcomes the choice
To let go
To willingly sever
From what has broken before
And what she cant fix.
She breathes
And her whole being comes alive
A wisp of a wind chime that she is
He heart beating in each tuft of herself
She sways
Along the silky arms of the winds
Intact
Rolling about the grasses
Carefree.
She fosters no acknowledgement of impending danger
In doing so
Causing the fiend, imagined or not
To cease to exist.
She bounces about
Childish and innocent
Aware of the blossoming Life
Flourishing in all around her
And sponging it in
Till she twirls about the falling leaves
And comes to rest
On the silent waters below.
Here she smiles
Tranquil in peace
Still, but not stagnant
Cradled, but untouched.
She surrenders to the surface
Holding still but not holding on
Allowing the sunlight to tickle her
Till he hides behind a cloud.
Here she will linger
One with Nature
One with herself
Unspoken
Unsinned
Smiling.
