The Night And The River

She follows the River of the Night
Into the deep caverns of the falls
The water breaks in a hopeless attempt
To contain the strength of the dark

She's alone, yet unafraid
Gliding along through the still within
And finding that Treasure along the shore
As she climbs the waters, holding each drop for support

She sails on her Faith
Trusting the tide to save her
And relinquishing control
To the silent of the Night

Untampered calm resides
In the weightless dark
As it completes the Night
Alongside her waves

There is no plight
Among the dark and grey
The River shines through
Countless, by the Night

It remains unshattered
Like the water of the Love that binds it
And towers along the ground
In the plains of the exquisite

Reflecting the dark
Soundless in perfection
She flows to deeper meaning
And embodied empowerment

The soft of the Night
Calls out to the Sky
And encircles them
In a display for the Heavens

The Wind sings to the Night
The River provides harmony
And the caverns and the dark
Accompany in flight

The Night holds up the dark
The dark, flipside of Light
And burns in the waves
Of the River, as an escape

Unbending, the Night sighs on
And savours the Love of the River
And they hold hand in hand
In their dance, that drifts between
