Shades of Grey

Can we be shades of grey
I want to live in your spectrum
Rejoice in the sunlight of your smile
And to wipe away your frown
When you're trapped in anger
Can I swim in your peace
And we can divide the melancholy bits
Can we live it all
Without having to choose
Can we be simple and complex
Can we be shades of grey?

Would you let me in
When you're feigning bravery
And let me shoulder some of your pain

With my love and strength as the glue.

On this magic carpet of bliss
Such a things exists

There is no disease

When you crave stillness

When you desire solitude
I will disappear
I understand space and silence
And how it will replenish you

It can't be just the merriment
Or the misery alone

Or not to love you at all.

Can we not be black and white?

Chosen

And she

Whose partnership with life
Spanned perhaps a single batch of seasons
Within in a circle
Selflessly offered her most precious belonging
Through Love
Into the folds
Of the Divine Blanket of Light
Considered it spent
In sacrifice
As if entirely on loan
In the purest, most ultimate attempt to teach
Of the limitless strength
Welled deep within the Spirit
To be recognized
Developed
And drawn
The way liquid fills a straw
When one attempts to drink
Filling the vacuum
Comprising the pain and shadow darkness
And restoring a semblance of acceptance
No matter how frail
To build upon.

Let not this experience
Steal your faith in Love
Your stronghold on the Path of Providence
Let it not snatch your will to feel
Pleasure or pain
And leave behind your senses.
Carry no burden
Of this incomprehensible loss
But allow for your Soul to breathe in
Its meaning and purpose.
It is not a punishment
But the strongest opportunity
Brought about by the most tremendous of Souls
Surrendering her breath
To demonstrate he lesson
Insuring your growth into the Light
And decanting the truth
Through the most supreme of promises
Dealt to you all
Along your journey.

You were rich for her presence then
For her life was solely for you
And her radiant glow continues to burn
Igniting your strength
With the stamina of understanding
Illuminating your road ahead
And enriching your Soul
The way only she could
The reason for which she was Chosen.

A Heart's Story

A shadow of light was cast
But a Heart was being covered
Like the rain clouds cover the sun
Weeping endless drops of rain.
'Twas as if that Heart had cried
Cried itself dim
Cried itself weak
Cried itself to sleep.
But awoke with fury of pain
Awoke with rage of hurt
For it was not guilty of crime
It was not guilty of crime.
It's only sin was - it had Loved.
Loved with no conditions
Loved with no regrets
For bold was this Heart
But innocence was not lost
And it Loved with no fear
Of the terror to meet it yet.
Watching Eyes narrowed
For they did not believe
What wonders this Heart
So in Love could achieve.
Far beyond their thoughts
Far, far away
This Heart's Love knew magic
But knew not how to say
The magical words of Love
The beauty that lies within
To all those who accused it
Of the so-called sin.
Lost in a haze of mist
It wandered, crushed, with no aim
When upon it came
A Heart of the same
Sorrow, misery and pain.
Learned was this new Heart -
It knew the ways of the world
And it preached to it's new friend
How to be strong
How to have faith
How to prove to those watching eyes
That it was not wrong.
From the Heart that had confided
This Heart learned fast
And it quickly decided
To fight till the last.
Times had been harsh
But this brave Heart knew
That it had to be strong
And it soon so grew.
Pouring Love into it's core
Enriching itself even more
Feeling day by day, for sure
Fresh and brand new.
So on followed, till a time came
When this Heart was full of Love
So full, it could not contain
And showered it from above.
It fell gently from the skies
Penetrating those Narrow Eyes
And made them wise
By destroying their lies
Of the evils of Love
And the wonder of hate
For this Heart had created
What no one could before create.
The Watching Eyes soon watched again
But not like they had before
They watched with Love from that time then -
And hate was erased from the core.
Victorious was this Heart
And so it was
For it -
It had seen the sign.
But this Heart had a secret
A deep, dark secret
For this Heart -
This Heart was mine.
