The epitome of purity
She is an Angel, here to guide us.
We ask her counsel
She always presents the Truth
Unwavering.
Like a Phoenix
She rises, over and over
Each time the dark sets in
Holding the hands of all around her
Pulling them out of the well of delusion as well.
She cares.
Genuinely
And wants for the good to happen
For all.
She prays
With all her Soul as the offering
Without doubt or hesitation
For the Lord is her refuge
In all the trying times
And in contentment too.
There is great power in her voice
Her each word calls in the Light
It cleanses all those who listen
And beams realization to those who cant.
Selfless and giving
She spreads her affection
As does a knife to butter on toast
To each corner
In each direction
Evenly.
And for all.
For her it matters little
If one is tall or not
If one is dark or fair
Or of any of the uncountable distinctions
That man chooses to divide each other with
For her, each is special
Just the way they are.
Without reservations, she loves each
And without exceptions.
She finds the Light
And will lead everyone to it
The shining spirit that she is.
Every ounce of knowledge she acquires
She generously distributes
To those who search
And to those in need.
She will send the music from her heart
To enrich all around her
With their Holy vibrations.
Despite her human form
She is Divine
The essence of Love personified
To be that beacon of an example
To us, and to them
To eradicate a 'them'
And bring 'us' all to be One.
She subtracts from that which overflows
And replenishes that which lacks
To create a balance in the river of our lives
So that we may prosper.
Whole.
Even to the skeptics and the non - believers
She sends her love and care
Unrestrained
Because sometimes, they're the ones that need it the most.
She acknowledges each
Whether they be great or small
And despite the unbound presence in her being
She makes none feel inferior.
She is a Soul
And yet is part of One
And enriches the love in each Soul around her
She is an Angel
An Angel of the Light
A Spirit, free
Yet, she is connected to all
And in her calm
Peace will reign
For she is the one
Whose strength and wisdom
Will envelope us all
And spread her Light
And complete the broken pieces
To unite us
From all to One.
Into the Light we shall plunge
As a single entity
And become the Light -
To see the Lord
And merge with Him
In the Ultimate Reality
In the Ultimate Heaven.
She is the Angel
The Angel of the Light
Whom we follow and trust
And like her, we shall blossom
As Love
Under the shelter of the Lord.

Unimportant
Have you ever felt like you're not important?
Like most of the time, you're an outcast?
In every game or opportunity
You always get picked last?
You try so hard, only to fit in
And you want to be you, just as you are
But whatever you do is always wrong
And everything they say, leaves a scar
None of them understand how tough it is
To be insulted, alone and ignored
They dont know how it feels to break
And not be strong or emotionally insured
They make you feel something's wrong with you
Because it seems you'll never do anything right
Either you're too short, or your skin is too dark
And the color of your hair just adds to your plight
They never attempt to understand you
Because that, for them, is a futile task
They dont care if you can sing or paint
They will never make an effort to ask
It's a cruel game that they all play
Taking advantage and cutting you so
Despite their ignorance, they feel you are an idiot
If you speak of Einstein, Washington or Truffaut
What do you do, where do you turn?
Will you ever reach a place where you stop trying?
You dont know why only you are the scapegoat
And wonder if you'll ever stop silently crying
They'll only ever be nice to you
To set you up to fall
Then they'll walk right over you
With no hint of remorse at all
They'll see your pain, but they wont care
They actually think it's all an act
Just a bid to get attention, they feel
With no basis whatsoever in fact
You never had it as easy as the others
But they blame you for sorely lacking
It's not your fault, you should know and believe
So dont feel guilty for your edges cracking
It is the most difficult life
To be so afraid, insecure and alone
All you ever wanted was a little support
And a little kindness to be shown
But you are and will be unimportant
Your feelings dont matter and nor do you
You can never win, by their rules
And you will never be part of their crew
But know this, oh Wounded One
Your Fate will change in due time
Just hang in there and summon your strength
And you'll turn out just fine
What they know is only superficial
What you know will carry you through
What you can develop is infinite
Just have faith in your strength for that's what's true
And know this too, for it's not false
You will always shine bold and bright
For unlike them, who cannot see the flame
You carry the Torch of what is good and right
You may be unimportant to them
But they are unimportant overall
And never forget that those who trip others
Ultimately end up with the hardest fall.

Timely Untimely
What if you could mix up Time?
And live your Present in the Past?
Would you wander through the Future a while
And live your Past last?
Could the Past translate into the Future
Into the Present and back to the Past?
Would you move back from the Past or ahead from the Future
And filter the Present unasked?
Would you dive in & out through the tunnels of Time
And change what you didn’t like?
Your fights with Mom, your school, your boss
And date Steve instead of Mike?
Would you marry 5 times and live out each life
Just for fun, then return to the start?
Or would you age younger, from 40 to 20
Then loop it, 6 months apart?
Would you visit the Greats, the Legends of Ago
Be they Sportsman, Musician or King?
Or would you step ahead to see who’s next
Who’ll rule, play or sing?
Would you change your profession and visit reunions
Each time with a different history?
Would you change your hairstyle the moment it’s cut
And do the same with your whiskery?
How many times would you change your choices?
Would you even choose to die?
Would you hop, skip and jump through Time for all time?
And never let Time just go by?
Would you ever live with one decision you’ve made
And live with it unaltered?
Or would you rewind the good times and fast forward the pain
And smudge out the times you faltered?
How many lives would you live in one life?
Would life even be complete?
Would years, months or seconds even mean anything now?
Would age become obsolete?
It would be amusing if you traversed alone
But what if everyone learned to travel?
Whose Present would affect whose Future or Past?
How then would Time unravel?
There would be no system, there’d be only chaos
Like a washing machine, only stranger
What once was, would change with each person
A castle could become a manger
What is up, would be sideways, and sideways would be down
What would Life be in a world so suspended?
You’d never know anything for sure, if it’s real
Or how it began, developed or ended
You would never learn the lessons of Time
You would never truly Live
Because this would be a selfish life
Like give & take, without the give
You may not get older, like Dorian Gray
But ageing will always be different from growing
You think you can outsmart Time in Its game
But presuming is always different from knowing
You’ll never know what True Joy is
An experience of ‘Just One Time’
Because ‘One’ is what Time really is
Past – Present – Future sublime.

Metamorphasis
He stands unsheltered upon the rock-face cliff
But he grows no fear for the height of the fall
He only stares out and above for the message
To display for him solutions to his wonderings
He carries the desire to fulfill himself
In learning, understanding and accepting
He wishes to end this estrangement within
And extricate himself from its malignant grasp
He knows it represents a quest
Which shall be rocky to conquer
But he is prepared to tolerate and sacrifice
To engage in the attainment of this Peace
He is halfway there, with his resolve
But can see the mountains ahead
He grabs a fist full of determination
And lets himself take a white step of faith
Unafraid, he ploughs through clouds of confusion
And dusts the blindness off himself
He wipes shadows clear from the root
And emerges through gusts of darkness, undefeated
He looks about himself and sees no injury
He sifts through the winds and races on
Suddenly he sees the crux of his journey in front of him
And stops, tranquil, to claim his breath
Simplicity was that breath of silence
That pondered upon diffused thoughts
He would no longer sink into his abstract life
But rekindle himself, in what remained unshattered
Quiet belief would reign unrestricted
Followed by tender surrender
He would bathe in this profound calm
And hold patience in his hands once more
He is engulfed by a Peace beyond passion
His knowledge is reimbursed by a blinding flash
His polish would be renewed by this light
As his arms eagle out to receive
Shyness has dissolved in the ground beneath him
And apathy refuses to linger on
He can now feel no restraint to change
And un-sense surprise, wonder and amazement
He has no need for acid tears
And allows them to swim into evaporation
He is purified by the abandonment of the false
And releases his dreams from his depth to oblivion
He is crippled no further by ego
he fosters no attachment to guilt
He can forgive who he used to be
And now embrace who he has become
His heart filters what is unrequired
His mind guides, but follows his path
He derives his strength from pure will and breath
While his Soul, as his essence, is what we now see
But he grows no fear for the height of the fall

The Floor Became The Floor Again
As the thick, bold tears fell from her eyes
She clutched at the walls for solace
She was weak with every tear
And could not unbreak what had happened to her.
She folded herself and simmered to the ground
Holding herself, to replace the absence of another
The tears continued to fall
Alongside the searing pain.
She had gotten lost outside herself
She had forgotten what it meant to be peaceful
Happiness had become a concept
And love was storybook material.
She touched the floor beneath her
It was cold and hard, but smooth
"Smooth," she thought, "It's almost seamless"
But took comfort in the fact that it was solid
Solid, unlike the pain she felt
Tangible, like something to hold
For so long, she had wandered in an unreal life
But here, the floor embraced her.
All was not as it should have been
Demons from within had led her without
She was fed lies from the people she trusted
And what she possessed, she had no need for.
Quietly, she gave in to her tears
Allowing her eyes and self to softly burn
She could no further think, speak or feel
But blindly pressed her hand to the floor.
She surrendered all she believed
And harboured no lust, nor fear, nor anger
An explanation didn't matter now
She only wanted to let go
Un-see the seen
Un-think the thought
Be allowed to fall and upright herself
Unburdened with guilt or excuses.
In a moment untouched, she felt a ripple within
As though her heart were pressed back into place
She felt her Soul begin to softly glow
She was now calm, at rest, but still to be at peace.
The floor now felt warm beneath her tips
She no longer crouched within herself
A soaring love enveloped her Soul
And her eyes closed, burning no more.
She saw the glow and touched the love
It was no dream, nor illusion, nor farce
Suddenly she understood all so clear
And the floor became the floor again.
Exhausted, but starting to feel complete
She noticed her breathing deepen and liven
She witnessed the sweet sound of her heartbeat
And she absorbed the punctuated solitude into each piece of her being.
She was dazed, but in the clear
Slightly dizzy, but strong with resolve
Her eyes were moist, but only to replenish
Her comfort was now the calm that surrounded her.
She was alone, yet no longer felt so
In her quiet, her peace was restored
She smiled and lifted herself to full measure
And breathed from within, in the wilderness no more.
She clutched at the walls for solace
She was weak with every tear
And could not unbreak what had happened to her.
She folded herself and simmered to the ground
Holding herself, to replace the absence of another

I Do Still Love You
You cast a spell on my heart
And showed me a love indescribable
You brought to light a tenderness within
I was never aware existed
You allowed me to dream of a love for you and I
That is as improbable as it is true
Because, we were always worlds apart
In almost every way imaginable
But I do still love you
In only the purest of ways
And hold a prayer in my heart
For the elements to watch over you -
Let the rain shower you with glory
And drench you in its joy
Touch you with each drop, and spread
The bliss of life within you.
Let the sun shine down in bundles
And surround you in its peace
Fill your being with warmth and calm
And protect you like a shield.
Let the winds carry you on their wings
And fly you far beyond your dreams
Breathe the love of the world to you
And always lift you in times of need.
Let the earth never forsake you
And catch you if you should fall
And always hold you close to its heart
And be your unwavering support.
Your life will have no place for doubt
For you are special, as you are loved
Protected like a child from all evil
You will forever prosper, undefeated.
Call upon your heart within
It will always glow with my love
You will never feel alone with this force
And it will abolish all your fears
You will always glisten from your soul
I'll see your light from unfathomable distances
You may be distant, as distant as can be
But I'll always be tuned in, should you call
You may not evoke me to your mind
But I will constantly be praying for you
Because I do still love you
And I will for all eternity.
And showed me a love indescribable
You brought to light a tenderness within
I was never aware existed
You allowed me to dream of a love for you and I

Not To Be
Emptiness can only exist
In the sea surrounded by despair
And you swallow each minute whole
When the seconds drown as they burn by
You offer no regret
In the demise of all consciousness
But your Soul quakes from within
And the ashes dissolve once more
Darkness is your strong point
For only you can gauge it's depth
Living in it for so long
You have forgotten how life looks
Breathing not, stirring not
You dream an endless dream
Swirling in the well of illusion
You see no truth, you feel no light
You seem to exist, but only just so
Through methods of wrong doing and mis-thought
It matters to you not if you will ever be Right
You will only channel that path which tramples all else
You are not meant to overcome your life, you should know
But join the dance of this world
Yet you chose not to blow with the breeze
And puncture the hearts of all you meet
You should be condemned, here & now
For you burned, hurt, stabbed and forsaked
You bear no guilt, nor responsibility nor feeling
Your heart is so cold, it's hard to conceive the thought
You need to know what destruction you caused
Had you been the receiver, you would be different
You would have seen the illogical, the ridiculous and unfair
And realized, other people do feel
You showed me the evil of anger
How 'normal' becomes suspended
But I saw the after-effects too
Where only remorse, sorrow and loss remain
You made everyday painful
And feel like everything I did was a sin
But you showed me that not even trying to understand another
Only leaves you surrounded by animosity, alone
You believed cheating others would enrich you
And in pilfering, each moment you got
But you lived in fear of being caught at all times
And it was always visible in your every move
You thought you always deserved respect
And demanded it with full measure
But one can never demand, only command respect
And you can never receive it, if you cant learn to give it
You never showed Love, even when you wanted to
You felt ashamed to the very core
You never let what's pure embrace you
And I learnt I should express it every chance I get
You proved by example, with your misdeeds and your wrath
Through selfishness and disregard for all
What not to imbibe in order to evolve
For you were stationary with no love or happiness
Forgiveness is difficult with the amount of suffering you caused
So is understanding, compassion and a prayer
Even though you still feel you did nothing wrong
I will still find the strength to exonerate
Now I am free of your chains
And the mental and emotional war with myself
I still hurt because of what you did
But I thank you for helping me learn how not to be.
In the sea surrounded by despair
