To Be Embraced Like That

Do you know what it is like to be held
Close, and tender
An all encompassing embrace?

The kind where your hearts align
And suddenly you feel an incredible expanse
As though you feel the whole Universe between you two
Emanating out...

The kind which surrounds you with warmth
And pours it within
Reaching a deeper dimension
Where it doesn't stay limited to a physical feeling

The kind where you're so connected your Souls touch
To exist untouched by anything else
In a consortium of joy
Love, and exalted harmony.

Where you actually feel what it is to lose yourself in the moment
In that feeling
In the sheer breadth of that space in time
Experience the moment live and breathe with you
And gently sigh with the weight of the shared calm you both hold.

To be embraced like that

Clasped,

To live like that, in a compound moment -

I think that's what we need.

Dandelion Smile

Delicate, but not frail
She floats along
Where the waters sail
Where the winds' whisper of a kiss
Nudges her along.
She wont come apart
Not if she resolves not to
But she welcomes the choice
To let go
To willingly sever
From what has broken before
And what she cant fix.
She breathes
And her whole being comes alive
A wisp of a wind chime that she is
He heart beating in each tuft of herself
She sways
Along the silky arms of the winds
Intact
Rolling about the grasses
Carefree.
She fosters no acknowledgement of impending danger
In doing so
Causing the fiend, imagined or not
To cease to exist.
She bounces about
Childish and innocent
Aware of the blossoming Life
Flourishing in all around her
And sponging it in
Till she twirls about the falling leaves
And comes to rest
On the silent waters below.
Here she smiles
Tranquil in peace
Still, but not stagnant
Cradled, but untouched.
She surrenders to the surface
Holding still but not holding on
Allowing the sunlight to tickle her
Till he hides behind a cloud.
Here she will linger
One with Nature
One with herself
Unspoken
Unsinned
Smiling.

Angel Flight

As the angel spread her wings
And sought to attend the flight before her
She witnessed the sunshine sing
Who could not help but adore her

She stepped off into the air
Into the dance of the winds
The moon and the stars stopped to stare
Utterly in awe and an unfolding grin

Cast off into the symphony
Of the passionate applause
She sliced through the air unbound and free
Unattached to any reason or cause

The air folded beneath her wings
Swallowing the sunshine and feeding on its light
She swam through the air in ever ending rings
Well into the sun as it devoured the night
