Falling In

Twirling in the shadows
Found in a pool of shade
Frivolous in the obscurity
A ballerina of the oblivion
I am but a speck within this intangible grey
And yet its very essence
A delightful paradox in my own existence.

This vessel half full
Having spilt the shadows from the light
Offers unspoken refuge
Or unflinching release
The seconds linger in a pondered moment.. Do I fly?
Or drift, unmoven

Sometimes I think falling in is the only way out.

To Be Embraced Like That

Do you know what it is like to be held
Close, and tender
An all encompassing embrace?

The kind where your hearts align
And suddenly you feel an incredible expanse
As though you feel the whole Universe between you two
Emanating out...

The kind which surrounds you with warmth
And pours it within
Reaching a deeper dimension
Where it doesn't stay limited to a physical feeling

The kind where you're so connected your Souls touch
To exist untouched by anything else
In a consortium of joy
Love, and exalted harmony.

Where you actually feel what it is to lose yourself in the moment
In that feeling
In the sheer breadth of that space in time
Experience the moment live and breathe with you
And gently sigh with the weight of the shared calm you both hold.

To be embraced like that

Clasped,

To live like that, in a compound moment -

I think that's what we need.

Just for a little while.
But you cant
And you know you cant
But that doesnt give you a reason to give up.

Sometimes the care just aint enough
Sometimes you feel it just aint there
Or sometimes, you just dont see it
When its surrounding you and trying to penetrate the wall you put up
But it's there.
It's always there.
And you are never truly alone.
Ever.
They are looking after you.
They always have been.
Breathe.

All those times you thought it was over
And all the signs pointed to it.
When you knew beyond doubt that it's hopeless.
But then you go to sleep and wake up
And the new day brings her lovely light
And the sun shines.
Even when there are clouds
The sun shines.
You might not see it for a moment
But it's there.
Like it always has been.
And you see how it's so constant.
And you look at your own life
And see the ups and downs
Most of which are your own doing
And you try to be like the sun.
You want to be like the sun.
Shining all the time
Whether there are clouds or not.
Breathe.
Dont give up.

Your potential is boundless.
You might already see it
All you have to do is accept it.
And dont ever think that you aint got it
Coz girl, you sure do.
No one can make you feel good or bad.
Nothing can influence your thoughts.
You're stronger than that.
So if you see something
Or someone says something
That you dont like
Dont you let it affect you
Coz you are more powerful than that
In every way that you can imagine.
Dont let yourself fall.

Dont give up.

Your brilliance is beyond measure
That's just the person you are.
Dont let yourself believe otherwise.
Ever.
The Light is always shining.
Close your eyes and you'll see it.
It's always been there
Whether you acknowledge it or not.
Dont ever underestimate yourself.

Or out of reach
Or unattainable
